Client Receives Compensation after Slip at Garden Centre
Mrs A was awarded £3,000 compensation for pain and suffering after she slipped on wet newspaper whilst walking around her local garden centre. Mrs A fell to the ground sustaining soft tissue injury to her right leg, left arm and lower back. Initially the garden centre were reluctant to compensate Mrs A but NM in our public liability team fought to get the compensation Mrs A was entitled to and succeeded in doing so. Mrs A said of our personal injury claim process ‘Thorough throughout, professionally positive…we were treated as human beings with feelings. Our requirements were understood and acted upon with alacrity.’ Commenting on the case NM said ‘Despite the Garden Centre’s initial reluctance to compensate this client I am very pleased with the outcome we managed to secure for Mrs A’.
£8,500 payment for man who slips on wet floor
Russell Worth’s team of specialist public liability lawyers fought hard to get our client the compensation he was entitled to following an accident in a car park. After putting his ticket in the car our client went to exit down the stairs however when he got on to the stairwell, as he went to go down the stairs, he slipped and fell due to the floor being wet. Our client sustained a nasty right shoulder injury requiring surgery and a significant amount of time off work followed. MR, Senior Solicitor with conduct of this claim, ensured that our client not only received compensation for pain and suffering but also for loss of earnings whist he was unfit for work together with travel expenses for attending physiotherapy and hospital appointments. Following the conclusion of his claim our client said ‘Great service from people who cared and had my best interest at heart’.
